Meet Mel

With many years of experience as an animal sitter and a specialism in animal behaviour, Mel is a reliable and caring pet carer with a true love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Over the years, she’s cared for dogs, cats, horses, small pets, poultry and livestock, treating every single one like it was her own.

It was this hands on, close up experience with so many different animals that sparked the idea behind Aunty Mel’s Paw Magic. Having seen firsthand how much comfort and confidence healthy paws and noses can bring, Mel set out to create a balm that helps animals of every kind live safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable lives, one walk at a time.

How to Use the Magic

Ready to sprinkle a little magic on those paws? Here’s how it’s done:

Close your eyes. Make a quiet wish. Distract your pet with a delicious Aunty Mel’s treat and you’re ready to go.

Gently massage a pea sized pearl of Liquified Sunbeam onto ruff, dry paws and noses. Watch as your pet’s toe beans gently absorb it, feeling instantly protected and silky smooth, all set for a walk, whether it’s hot summer tarmac (we’ve got you covered!) or a frosty field with road salt and grit underfoot (we’ve got you covered there too!).

Now, take a wide smile, a deep breath, and get ready for your outdoor fairytale adventure.

The Magic Behind the Ingredients

Jojoba Oil A non greasy liquid wax that absorbs rapidly and deeply into tough paw pads. Closely matches the skins natural sebum allowing deep repair of cracked and crusty paw pads. Delivers high concentration of vitamin E to calm raw skin and irritation caused by hot pavement or icy roads. Is a natural preservative and prevents the need for other harsh preservatives in the recipe.
Lick safe to dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.

Shea butter Nutrient rich conditioner that intensely moisturises, repairs and softens dry or cracked paw pads. Contains high levels of fatty acids that soften crusty rough pads. Reduces inflammation, as it contains plant sterols and vitamins A and E. Lick Safe for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Horses.

Beeswax A natural, breathable protective barrier that seals in moisture and shields paw pads from harsh environments such as hot pavement, rough ice, sand, road salt and jagged stones. Completely non toxic and lick safe to Dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.

Sweet Almond Oil Deep nourishing vitamin E and Zinc rich emollient that rapidly softens dry paw pads and speeds up healing of cracked skin. Helps repair painful cracks, micro tears and minor abrasions. It has natural anti-inflammatory properties that soothe irritated skin. Lick safe for dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.

Candelilla wax Plant based protective barrier that locks in moisture and provides a smooth glossy finish. Its higher melting point helps to prevent the balm from liquifying, sweating or turning grainy in warm temperatures. Contains natural resins that protect, condition and soothe irritated skin. Lick safe for dogs, cats, rabbits and horses.
